The difference between creation and work and life.

The two images below are a draft and a completed image of a four-frame manga posted on this blog in the past. Arranging them in this way gives the impression that the draft of the illustration is just colored, but my mental state at the draft stage, which is not yet completed, is still vague and unconfident, and it is a very fluffy feeling... πŸ˜”

However, if the viewer is different, who may feel that the outline of the illustration has already been decided in the illustration at the draft stage. If you think calmly here, it seems that my illustration can already express the world view at the draft stage. Making a line drawing from a draft and painting it may be a simple task in a sense.

That's right. The process of creating this draft image into a finished image is actually a simple task. However, drawing a draft from a completely blank sheet of paper is not a simple task, and it can be said that it is a creation. A manga draft is a storyboard in a movie. Probably the most difficult thing to do in manga production is to draw a draft on a blank sheet of paper. That's because zero became one. In other words, creating value from nothing.

You can also think of the draft as a starting point. By further modifying the rough idea, you can gradually get closer to the finished product. On the other hand, even if you can draw a good draft, it is a pity if you can not reach the goal (completion).

After all, manga production is the same as life. Even if you're not confident and lonely at the draft stage, you can be sure that it will be completed if you continue to work hard. πŸ˜‰

Mr. Cat drinks a cup of coffee.

There is a famous coffee shop on the peaceful Southern Island too. As you know it is a shop named Starcats Coffee. Everyone ought to have used it once. Oh my, Mr. Cat is walking happily from the other side. And he is about to enter the coffee shop. He received the drink ordered through the counter. As usual he drinks a sugar milk, but today he decide to order another hot drink. Well, he came to the table seat and is about to drink the first black coffee in his life. That's right, he has never drunk coffee before. Well, what will happen? Oh, he looks very painful. Apparently, the black coffee seems to be bitter for him. Sorry cat... But don't be afraid, Mr. Cat. It's better that he puts sugar and milk into the coffee next time. If he does that, it will be the taste of cat's favorite, surely he will like coffee. Hi, thanks for reading. I hope you like it :D

I made a 3D character model of my own game.

This character is called Neko-Kun. In the English-speaking world, it's called Orange Tabby Green. It is a setting called the domestic cat of Emmy (Emmy) Green Chan's house mentioned above. 😁 Above is the setting image of the analog picture. Isn't the 3D model made to look pretty good? Of course, there are still areas that I would like to improve, so I would like to work on it carefully. 😎 Well, I want to make 3D games through creative activities, but in the future, individuals will draw illustrations (pictures), create 3D models, create animations (FBX), and then create them again. I think that the number of individual game writers who integrate them into 3D games will increase. This is because a game development engine that can be used by individuals such as Unity has appeared, and an environment has been set up that allows individuals to develop 3D games. πŸ€” Since my main job is SE / PG (* not a game system), I am advancing the Unity program as a hobby, but it is d...

Hi everyone, I'm alive!

Now, I changed my job and moved to Osaka from Tottori in Japan. And I show you my new work space to make my artworks for my second job. I hope you like this :) It's my desk for creating my artwork in Osaka! From before, I drew my artworks by using watercolor, but now I bought a new graphic tablet to draw my digital artworks! It's XP-PEN artist 16 Pro. It's completely suited to me and I'm really satisfied with it :) Finally, I bought a new graphic tablet to draw my digital artworks :D I drew an orange cat character by using my digital graphic tablet. He is "Neko-kun". Its meaning "Mr. Cat" probably. Anyway now I'm really happy that I could tell you I'm alive. Thanks for reading :D
